Module 2 - Statistical Analysis
Part 2 of our experiments involves the analysis and correlation of comparable statistics across the PSI catalogues we harvested. Results from this analysis enable us to make assertions about the contents of the catalogues.

Release Date Statistics |
| By comparing the release dates of the records we are able to assess the activity of the PSI portals and the agencies that disseminate the information assets. | |

Tag Cloud Snapshots |
| By comparing the keywords and category terms used for annotating the records we are able to extrapolate the general themes and topic distribution of the catalogues. | |

Records Correlations |
| A search engine and records correlator for cross-catalog retrieval and dynamic fusion of records based on tags and other commonalities. This work provides facilities for integrating and retrieving PSI records across multiple catalogs. Work in progress. Currently only the integration engine is available for testing. |
